Refund policy

We have a 14 day returns policy for all non preordered products, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unwashed, uncut and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please inspect your fabric and contact us asap if there is any problems.
*Pre-ordered fabrics are non refundable except in the event of a flaw with the fabric. This is due to the nature of the custom fabric, being printed especially for you to your requests. Please note that all fabrics are thoroughly inspected upon delivery to us so a flaw would be very unheard of. (Please see information on flaws - a flaw is considered an imperfection larger than a 5p coin).*

To start a return, you can contact us at colourburstfabrics@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

All fabric is measured and cut by hand by the owner of Colourburst Fabrics. Due to this there can be an over cut or an under cut of up to 3%. This is a rare manual error but not a fault and is not eligible for a return based on this alone. If you think that you've been under cut more than 3% of your total purchased length then please send clear photographs to the email address above to begin the return process.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like preordered fabric and PYO, due to the custom nature of the product. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item, we may still be able to help.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
